Dr. Hexter received his M.D. from University of Maryland School of Medicine. He finished his neuromuscular training with Dr. W. King Engel, a pioneer in the neuromuscular field, at University of Southern California. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Hexter is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
